If a statue of a person on a horse has both front legs in the air, the person died in battle; if the horse has one front leg in the air, the person died as a result of wounds received in battle; if the horse has all four legs on the ground, the person died of natural causes.
Had such a good weekend!
Started off pretty bad though, because of underground problems we had to drive around outer London trying to find an underground station which we could park eventually after an hour and a half we finally got the tube and got to houses of Parliament for our guided tour. Inside its pretty spectacular, really old building full of stain glass windows, grand pictures and tapestrys. After the tour i concluded that the government is pretty old fashioned and stupid carrying on their traditional ways which don’t even make any sense!
Anyways after that we went to Cambridge theater to watch Chicago. I have been dying to see this show for years! and while it was awesome it really doesn’t compare to the film. The american accents need working on and to be honest the ‘looks’ of the 2 main characters didn’t match up to Catherine Zeta-Jones and Renee Zellweger. Billy Flynn was fantastic though, spot on. At least now I can tick Chicago off my list of West End shows to watch.
On Saturday after staying in travelodge we decided to hit up shopping big style. Oxford Street first the Portobello Road and lastly Camden. By the end of the day my arms we’re full of shopping bags! brilliant!
The weekend isn’t over yet! So then I went off to Barroway Drove to see the husband and the kids and celebrate Beanbag the dog’s 12th birthday (old lady!) So after a bit of chinese, dancing around in our onesie pyjamas and genereally catching up it was bed time. I was exhausted after my weekend.
Woke up (late) this morning did a quick tidy up, as that’s what wives do. Met the baby lamb and then started to make up some goats cheese. Back in my onesie for some Hills watching time with Steff and Beano. We then did some more dancing and sliding around in our onesie’s and me making a delicious lunch for us both.
Now actual home time to clean out the bombsite which is my bedroom right now and settle down for the last EVER Hills episode :)
I’m a simple girl, little things make me happy. Over the last week or so I have come to the conclusion that all guys are messed up! They don’t know what they want, who they want it with or just come out with plain strange things! This is why my friends, and me included end up getting hurt and messed around.
Boys my say we are confusing but in reality guys are just as complicated, if not more so.
Please someone prove me wrong, it’s getting harder and harder not to be cynical here!
Everything has been pretty chill this week but few days coming up….Cinema with the college boys to see A-team, girls night at Elle’s tomorrow, then seeing the peterborough crowd at some point. London on Friday with my mum to see Chicago and do a bit of shopping THEN back home for party times and spending some time with the husband.
My feet are causing me pain, my legs ache from too much dancing, my voice is hoarse, my hair is a mess, I fell asleep for 3 hours and I feel sick at the thought of food.
That is the aftermath of a FUCKING AWESOME night. This is one of the things I love about not going to met lounge for a few weeks, after a month of taking a break everything felt new and exciting again and I had such a good night mingling with everyone :)
note to self: sambuca effects your memory.do. not. drink.
Ok so I enjoy watching tv series boxsets alot, I like it when I can just sit down and watch 4 or 5 episodes and do nothing else all day and sit in my pyjamas. Anyways, so far I have worked my way through Buffy, Charmed, Digimon and I’m half way through Pokemon and Sex and The City! Anyways Since I love Buffy I decided to watch Angel, just to gain some perspective on the interlinking stories that go on between them.
At the start I really wasn’t impressed but as the first season went on I got more and more into it. The plot twists were epic, dare i say it better than Buffy! So yes, I was impressed overall and today I watched the final episode it was amazing! Definatly on par with the Buffy finale although this wasn’t intended to be the final Angel episode, it only became so after the network didnt pick up the script for season 6 but tbh I honestly don’t know how any more season ending could beat that!
In conclusion I did enjoy Angel but nothing compares to Buffy
I’m all for saving the environment. I try do my part everyday. But someone seriously fucked up when they made primark bags out of paper. Let’s face it the weather in England is never great so please tell me who thought ahh yes, i know lets make the bags paper which disintegrates at the first sign of rain!
I do no appreciate having my pants end up of the street. Although all in all i had a good day with Steff, ate some chinese and she defo cheered me up. Calling people horrible names is fun :)
A collection of advice from Jamie Smith, take your pick
i’m not gonna say, you know, there’s plenty more fish in the sea. i’m not going to say if you love him, let him go. and I’m not going to bombard you with clichés. but what I will say is this - it’s not the end of the world
